In short
The Kibreeze website does not ask you to create an account, contains no forms and sets no tracking cookies. Your information only reaches us if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
Data controller
The data controller is the publisher of the website, identified in the legal notice. You can reach them on WhatsApp, at the number shown on the Contact page.
Data processed
Host’s technical logs. To serve the pages and protect the website, the host Cloudflare, Inc. automatically processes technical data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time. Legal basis: the legitimate interest in running and securing the website. These logs are kept by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy and may be processed outside Cameroon, in particular in the United States.
Your “My trip” selection. The services you select, with your dates and number of travellers, are stored only on your device, in your browser’s storage, for 30 days after your last change. They are not sent to us unless you send them yourself via WhatsApp. You can delete them at any time with “Clear” on the My trip page, or from your browser settings.
Your WhatsApp messages. If you write to us, we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and the content of your messages, including the selection and dates you send us. Purpose: to answer your request, prepare a quote and organise your stay. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request, then the performance of the service. Recipients: the Kibreeze team and, to carry out your stay, only the partners involved (accommodation, guide, transport). Retention: as long as needed to handle your request and deliver the service, then no more than three years after our last exchange. These messages go through WhatsApp, a Meta Platforms service, which processes them under its own privacy policy, including outside Cameroon.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
Under Cameroonian Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data and, if you live in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, erase and object to the processing of your data, and to restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, message us on WhatsApp at the number shown on the Contact page. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may contact the competent data protection authority.
Cookies
The website sets no cookies at all: no advertising, analytics or social media cookies. That is why no consent banner is shown.
The website uses a single storage item on your device, needed for the service you ask for: your “My trip” selection. It is never sent to Kibreeze unless you send it yourself via WhatsApp.
